Abilization: Putting the body back in bodywork
Abilization is a tool that benefits us personally and directly improves the quality of our sessions.  Our tablework reflects our ability to be present, connected and awake. Using our bodies as a textbook, we'll take an extended vacation in our bodies as we study the concepts of breathing, lengthening, strengthening and the relationships of different body parts as they integrate into movement.  Sal likes to think of it as "pre-hab".  Instructor Sally Van Dusen, LMP
 Cost $100  7 CEUs

Active Client / Focused Applications
Learn techniques to deal with chronic pain from injury and tendonitis.  Focus on individual muscles of the upper and lower body to start the client on the path to optimal function.  Methods include assessment, Pin & Stretch, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation and increasing range of motion.

Instructor Sheila Morris, LMP  Cost $125 per day: Upper Body and Lower Body 7 CEUs per day.

Acutonics Level I

This workshop introduces the Acutonics Healing System and is open to anyone interested in studying Acutonics.

Participants explore the philosophy, cosmology, and scientific and mystical roots of Acutonics. The workshop focuses on the cross-cultural uses of sound, concepts of the human body as sound resonator, energy meridians and points as pathways for sound, concepts of the world harmonies, cellular memory, sound imprinting, and reformatting. It offers fresh new insights into pre-meridian energy networks.

Students learn how to apply Acutonics precision calibrated tuning forks, using sound intervals that are based on the orbital properties of the Earth, Moon, and Sun. A wide variety of physical, psychological, and spiritual conditions are treated through the use of the extraordinary vessels, microcosmic orbit, windows to the sky, and selected points with transformational overtones.

Participants experience the art of listening, cellular re-entraining, attuning, and their combined role in biological reharmonization. Students learn to work with the Acutonics Earth Moon Set and the Acutonics Solar 7th Set.

Please welcome guest instructor Susan Wadden  Cost $350.

Acutonics Level II

This class deepens participants’ knowledge of the application of intervals to unique point combinations. Students learn to balance, expand, re-entrain, and transform meridian and organ disharmonies. Participants learn to work in between the physical and nonphysical energies of the body, integrating the low, middle, and high frequency tuning forks, to access subtler vibrational states of awareness that allow deep transformation of the physical form.

This class builds on Level I teachings and expands knowledge of energy diagnostics, grids, and fields that focus on the synthesis of individual and universal attunement. Students expand their knowledge of the Acutonics® Earth Moon Set and are introduced to the Acutonics® High Frequency Set, Acutonics® Low Moon Set, and other sound healing tools including Tibetan Bowls, bells, drums, rattles, and the didgeridoo.

Esalen Massage & Self Care
This weekend will offer an introduction to the elemental skills of Esalen massage with an additional focus on self-care for the practitioner.  Through demonstration and hands-on practice, participants will learn the long, flowing strokes that define Esalen style.  This approach emphasizes body awareness and quality of contact so the work is easy on the practitioner while bringing a sense of integration and connection to the receiver.  In addition to table work, group members will learn ways of attending to their own bodies using movement, touch and breath awareness.  Simple self-care techniques will be presented in a way to help rediscover flexibility and ease of movement in your practice and your life.  Instructor Dean Marson, LMP

Integrative Body Movement, Moving the Mind with the Body
Offered only as a private tutorial!

A neuromuscular approach, IBM is taught as a 4 part series that presents the basics of incorporating movement into tablework.  The use of movement provides the practitioner with the tool necessary to access and assess joints, gauge tissue response, and re-educate those patterns that cause pain and inhibit ROM.   By working in a way that invites softness, freedom, openness and release, the possibilities for change become profound.  Due to the complexities and intricacies of this work, Sally now teaches it solely on a one-to-one basis.  Instructor Sally Van Dusen, LMP.  Request the date!

Thai Massage

More than 2,000 years old, Thai Massage is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine that incorporates stretching & massage using the practitioner's hands and feet, while simultaneously accessing energy points on the body.  From weekend warriors to computer junkies, our approach is adapted for the Western lifestyle.
A fun change of pace for practitioners, Thai massage is done with the client fully clothed on floor mats.  As in any great session, the interchange between practitioner and client provides a full circle of vitality.

Please welcome guest instructor Licia Sky, team teaching with Sheila Morris.
