Continuing Education for Licensed Massage Practitioners

Workshops at Passages Retreat Center

Exceptional Instruction at Reasonable Rates

These classes are the regular offerings of our gifted instructors.  Our curricula is truly world class and unique to Washington State.  Passages is a serene workspace in a natural woodland setting where class time or lunch time can be spent outdoors in our organic gardens.  Our goal is to provide instruction to allow bodyworkers to further transition into true artisans of their craft.

Continuing education coursework satisfies Washington State Health Department licensure, AMTA, and NCBTMB requirements.  Instructors are all NCBTMB providers.  Passages Retreat Center is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork as a continuing education Approved Provider.

Please let us know what you'd like to see on the schedule for continued expansion in 2012.  The next certification in Facial Fitness Massage begins in April.  Please check out www.facialfitnessmassage.com  Brian Utting plans to return in May for Evaluation & Treatment of Shoulder Injuries.  In June, Acutonics Level I & II will be offered.  All instruction may also be delivered to other private teaching sites for groups.  Your continued support of quality bodywork education in North Central Washington is gratefully acknowledged.

To register for a class, please send a $50 deposit to Passages Retreat Center.  Itemize your name and address with the requested class.  It is most helpful if you do not pay in full; please send only the $50 deposit.  Upon receipt, we will mail you a confirmation along with supplies list.  Deposits are fully refundable if class is full or needs to be cancelled by the instructor.  If you find you are unable to attend after registering, deposits are refundable ONLY if request to withdraw is received in writing 3 weeks prior to class.

Certificates of Completion are presented at the end of the workshop and kept on file for 5 years.  In the event you need another copy, we are happy to mail you a new one for a fee of $15.

Cost:  $150 if registered by May 1/$175 after.

June

Acutonics Level I

This workshop introduces the Acutonics Healing System and is open to anyone interested in studying Acutonics.

Participants explore the philosophy, cosmology, and scientific and mystical roots of Acutonics. The workshop focuses on the cross-cultural uses of sound, concepts of the human body as sound resonator, energy meridians and points as pathways for sound, concepts of the world harmonies, cellular memory, sound imprinting, and reformatting. It offers fresh new insights into pre-meridian energy networks.

Students learn how to apply Acutonics precision calibrated tuning forks, using sound intervals that are based on the orbital properties of the Earth, Moon, and Sun. A wide variety of physical, psychological, and spiritual conditions are treated through the use of the extraordinary vessels, microcosmic orbit, windows to the sky, and selected points with transformational overtones.

Participants experience the art of listening, cellular re-entraining, attuning, and their combined role in biological reharmonization. Students learn to work with the Acutonics Earth Moon Set and the Acutonics Solar 7th Set.

Please welcome guest instructor Susan Wadden  Cost $350.  Gathering a waiting list to build a class. Please notify us if you'd like to attend.

Acutonics Level II

This class deepens participants’ knowledge of the application of intervals to unique point combinations. Students learn to balance, expand, re-entrain, and transform meridian and organ disharmonies. Participants learn to work in between the physical and nonphysical energies of the body, integrating the low, middle, and high frequency tuning forks, to access subtler vibrational states of awareness that allow deep transformation of the physical form.

This class builds on Level I teachings and expands knowledge of energy diagnostics, grids, and fields that focus on the synthesis of individual and universal attunement. Students expand their knowledge of the Acutonics® Earth Moon Set and are introduced to the Acutonics® High Frequency Set, Acutonics® Low Moon Set, and other sound healing tools including Tibetan Bowls, bells, drums, rattles, and the didgeridoo.
