His 1000-hour COMTA-accredited school was considered one of the best in the country.  Brian also served as the school’s Director for 22 of its 26 years.

Brian teaches with a rare blend of knowledge, passion, precision, humor, common sense, and depth.  He was awarded the AMTA’s Robert N. Calvert Award for Lifetime Achievement in April of 2009.

Sheila Morris began practicing massage in 1996. By 1998, her love of sharing the benefits of massage led her to begin teaching and mentoring students. She developed curricula in sports massage, hot stone massage, and Ethics, as well as taught at two massage schools.  Specialties include Sports Massage, Esalen Certification, Facial Fitness (developed as Professional Face Contouring), Medical Qi Gong Practitioner, Muscle Release Technique, Acutonics, Integrative Body Movement,  & Thai Massage, all of which she shares freely with students she mentors.

For Sheila, massage therapy has opened an amazing world of personal healing from old injury, as well as changing people’s lives through relief from chronic pain. She is thrilled to be able to offer Peak Performance Massage at her own Passages Retreat Center. Trained as a scientist, she translates this background to craftmanship and spirit in each massage.

Susan Wadden, MS, L.Ac. holds her B.S. degree in Preventative Medicine from the University of MA, Amherst and her M.S. degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Bastyr University, Seattle, WA.  She has lived in South America, working as a maternal and child health care specialist for the Peace Corps.  Her Luxury Wellness clients are treated at her North Seattle location.  She teaches locally and nationally.
